The Legend of Zelda: Draconic Dynasty

The Legend of Zelda: Draconic Dynasty Cover
Hey guys,

So I’ve been away for awhile, but hopefully if you follow me on instagram ( ) you know that I’m still busy making art. Well I’ve come back to say that I’ll be working on a new project with a small team of artists.

I present, “The Legend of Zelda: Draconic Dynasty”, it is a continuation of the adult timeline in “The Legend of Zelda” franchise. The story takes place a century after the events of “The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker” in an entirely new country to the East of New Hyrule, where the new incarnations of Link and Zelda have arrived to be liaisons for international trade. Driven by events that transpired in “Wind Waker” and “Phantom Hourglass,” Link and Zelda find themselves in the middle of this country’s problems.

I’ve been working on penciling the pages for the first chapter in which the full colored versions will be posted soon. Friends have been helping with concept art and story, and the first 3 chapters have been planned out. So stay tuned!

Note: This is a non-profit fan comic. I do not claim to own any of “The Legend of Zelda” franchise or characters.

Note 2: If you want to follow me on Deviantart, you can at If you want to on tumblr I’m at . As for instagram or twitter you can check out the links to the side of this page. 🙂

So the Ely’s are here. For those who don’t know, basically, at my school it’s the Illustration Majors thesis for senior year in a nut shell. Gonna have to do a series of pieces that all relate to a theme/body of work that you’re passionate about.

Gonna do a comic adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s “Coraline”! I’ve already started on character sketches, and I even messaged Neil Gaiman himself in a tumblr message telling him of my plans to which he told me to have a great time with it. Extremely short message but it gave me that extra drive. I’m feeling really awesome about this year already!

Had a few printing problems with this. Luckily in the end (and by the end I mean by the middle of our class’s section critiques) I was able to get a good print and got a good response. I’m feeling good.
